We’re Hitting the Nashville Hiking Trails!

So, you know we’re all about gorgeous views, kayaking on the Cumberland, and making Nashville a “river city”…but the River Queen Voyages mission extends far beyond that. We are huge proponents of mental health care and awareness, mindfulness, and how nature can benefit all of us. Thus, we are over the moon to be celebrating our mission with the following partnership (which was also recently announced on Nashville Health and Wellness ).

We're so excited to be joining @alischaffercounseling for 2019 We Hike to Heal Nashville and you're invited! This free event is part of @outdoorjournaltour: We Hike to Heal movement; a month-long women's empowerment and wellness campaign that culminates with group hikes all over the world on the last Saturday of  March.

The mission of #wehiketoheal is to encourage all women to tap into the healing and empowering influences of Mother Nature and themselves. The goal is to create a healing environment of gratitude and connection for women...everywhere.

This Nashville event brings together women and the healing power of nature and community. It's a transformative experience when we come together to move our bodies and share our hearts.

You're invited to be a part of the 2019 #wehiketohealNashville group hike on Saturday, March 30, 2019 to be held at Shelby Park at 9am.

The morning will begin with a brief welcome and then we'll head our for a hike through the park.  The hike with last approximately 1 hour and is on mostly flat, paved ground. All participants are encouraged to go at your own pace and take breaks as needed.  We'll gather at the end of the hike for intentional journaling exercises, meditation, conversation and connection.

We'll meet at Shelby Park Riverview Shelter, located in the park on Davidson Street and there is parking at the Shelby Lower Playground.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, a journal and pen.

As we lead up to the hike, we'll be sharing our own personal experiences and inspiration about mindfulness, nature and healing.

Can't wait to hike with you!
