K-Craft Paddle Board FAQs

Our Paddle Board offerings follow the same routing, scheduling, rules, and other general operations as our Kayaking excursions. Please review the Kayaking FAQs in addition to these few SUP-specific FAQs below.

  • Yes. And that we say “SUP” (stand up paddleboard) too. The reason is because all 3 are acceptable, but I have to use ALL of them in order to play the SEO game and make Google very happy. My personal preference is “paddleboard”, though.

  • It’s not hard. But be honest about your ability and pay attention to your crew’s instructions! The K-Craft is a supremely sturdy boat and is certainly easier to use than a traditional paddle board. If you don’t want to stand, you can always kneel or sit while you paddle and treat it like a kayak.

  • Each paddle board is intended for 1 user and you will only be given 1 paddle per board. However, each board has a 350lb capacity, so depending on users’ weight, the board can accommodate two people, or one person and a pet. Please do not lie to us (or yourself) about the total weight— it is a safety issue.

  • The weight of the user(s) and equipment/coolers/etc combined must not exceed 350lbs.

  • Because this is an activity where you will be paddling on a river shared with larger commercial and recreational boats, we do not recommend children under 7, though we leave it up to the parents’ discretion. Children under 12 must be in/on a boat with an adult.

  • We welcome all well-behaved pets, but they must be leashed and wearing a pet PFD (not provided) throughout the experience and your combined weight cannot exceed the weight limit.

Good to know…

  • Same-day reservations welcome

  • Tipping the crew is highly encouraged. An 18% gratuity is added to parties of 10+

  • There is little to no shade on the river— please bring adequate sun protection

  • Late arrivals will not be given extra time and late returns will be subject to additional fees

  • Children under 12 must paddle with an adult. We do not recommend children under 7

  • Only 1 paddle is provided per paddle board

  • Paddle boards are intended for 1 user, but can accommodate two people/up to 350lbs maximum
