Are you looking for an unforgettable and completely unique Nashville adventure? Look no further, because River Queen Voyages is bringing you River Queen Quest: Nashville’s only Kayak Scavenger Hunt! Enjoy paddling along the scenic Cumberland River and into the Nashville skyline while you compete against your peers to complete the game and win a prize.

Our Scavenger Hunt is a crossword puzzle-based game that pushes you to solve silly riddles and observational clues along your 3mi route. With 2hrs allotted to paddle a 1hr route, so you can choose to paddle upriver at the start to see some historic sites, or start heading downtown right away. Cell phone dry bags are included for each participant so you can complete the game on your phone, or choose the physical version to completely unplug. The first person (or team of 2) to decipher the keyword and reach the end of the kayak route wins a prize!

How it works

Meet our crew downtown at 2 Victory Ave to catch our shuttle up to the put-in point in East Nashville’s Shelby Park. At the boat ramp, we will distribute the game and give you instructions, get you outfitted for your paddle and give you a “Kayaking 101”, and put you on the water! Paddle upriver at the start to see historic sites, if you’d like, or begin paddling downriver back to downtown immediately. Be the first to arrive at the downtown finish with the final keyword deciphered to win a prize!

Your Scavenger Hunt booking includes your kayaks and equipment, a shuttle upriver to the start point, the scavenger hunt game, cell phone dry bags, a prize for the winner, and an RQV crew member on the water with you to guide (if you’d like!)
