West and Middle Tennessee were devastated by deadly tornadoes in the early morning hours of March 3, 2020. Among the many hard hit areas were the Nashville neighborhoods of North Nashville, Hermitage, Donelson, and Germantown, as well as East Nashville- which is where most of River Queen Voyages’ operations and employees are located. We are all heartbroken and shaken, but continue to be inspired by all of the incredible people in the community who have come together to help their neighbors. All of our equipment and team members were thankfully unharmed during this event, so we are ready and able to lend a hand- or a van! - to anyone in need. At present, we have three 15-passenger vans available to transport food, supplies, people, etc. in and around the Nashville area. If you would like to help with disaster relief, there are many ways to do so. You may sign up to volunteer your time with Hands on Nashville which is coordinating and delegating much of the relief efforts. Of course, one of the top ways to help is monetarily. If you are able to do so, please consider donating to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
