A’hoy Y’all: Nashville’s First & Only Pedal Pub Pontoon

Imagine you’re standing on any corner of lower Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. Echoes of classic country covers slip out of honky-tonk doors as passersby duck in for (another) beer. As you walk to your next destination, chances are you’ll encounter a giant rack-and-pinion steered feat of engineering with people pedaling like on a bike. You squint a bit as you try to comprehend what you’re seeing—a vehicle that seems to be plucked directly out of a Dr. Suess book--carrying six-to-sixteen emboldened individuals enjoying what appears to be an endless supply of cold adult beverages, making as much or more noise than any performer on stage nearby.

It’s certainly a spectacle. On the horizon, you see the mighty Cumberland River. If your timing’s right, you may get a look at the General Jackson, a beloved and decades-old river boat. You may catch a pack of kayakers making their way down river, hopping out at Nissan Stadium.

In 2021, River Queen Voyages warmly welcomes Nashville’s first and only Pedal Pontoon, combining all the fun of friends enjoying drinks together pedaling through the streets with the adventure and collective solitude of returning to nature and exploring an under-utilized and truly beautiful feature of Music City: The Cumberland River.

You and your party climb aboard our Master Captain-helmed vessel, position yourselves at one of our ten pedal stations, pop a cold one (safely housed in an aluminum can, no glass on board please,) throw some tunes on the bluetooth speakers and enjoy some of the most beautiful views Nashville has to offer. Book your public cruise at $49 per person or a private cruise with 6-16 people for $699 on our website today or email booking@riverqueenvoyages.com for group bookings!
